Heather Kempton is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Certified Canadian Counsellor with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families in areas of addiction, mental health, personality disorders, eating disorders, grief, relationship issues, parenting, trauma, mindset, nutrition, as well as athletic and career performance. Heather believes that stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and everyday pressure can be relieved through working the mind and body in tandem. This tandem can bring clarity to lifestyle goals and provide optimal balance, increasing your overall performance in life. This balance will help you discover how to move from a world of disconnection into a world of connection, empower you to face the reality of your fears, persevere through discomfort and failure, and overall, create a fulfilling life.....

Heather has developed self awareness through learning how her thoughts, behaviour and emotions play a part in moving her along a path towards managing her internal dialogue and finding a sense of belonging and self love. Life can present us with unbearable challenges and devastating pain to the point when some day’s things do not make sense and we become ineffective in our ability to perform. Heather believes that one can reconnect with their sense of self and develop a social network in which they feel appreciation, respect and trust. With all of the challenges that life brings us Heather has obtained personal happiness through living a physically active lifestyle and having the courage to seek support in order to identify her blind spots, face her fears and to develop a systematic approach that allows her to optimize performance through discipline, consistency and accountability. Athleticism and a strong foundation in nutrition have been an essential part of her self-growth, leading to an increase in self confidence, mental clarity, enhanced mood, heightened physical health, improved sleep and reduced levels of stress. Heather has found physical training and mindfulness practices to be an essential part in establishing emotional regulation, mental clarity and physical performance. It has been through life experience and years studying human behaviour that Heather has developed an approach that empowers you to find psychological insight, emotional regulation, physiological excellence and healthy interpersonal relationships. Jon Kempton

Jon has worked in law enforcement for the past 21 years spending his time in patrol, the Emergency Response Team and Dog Squad. In those positions Jon has held team leader roles that required him to build lesson plans, mentor new team members and teach hundreds of hours of law enforcement skills to others. Jon previously owned a local Cross-fit affiliate where he programmed workouts for individual and group athletes as well as coached hundreds of athletes including a large majority that work in the first responder community. Jon has always had a passion for fitness that spans back to his days in high school where he would show up at the gym every morning at 6 am before school to open the weight room and get his training time in before class. Jon has experimented with various training modalities in the past 25 years and draws on that lifelong experience when building training programs for himself and others.....

Jon has also developed the unique skills and passion to coach and mentor others through his experience at work and in owning his gym. Through experience Jon has discovered the importance of focusing on fitness, nutrition and mindset in order to find the optimal health required to work in the demanding positions he has held. Having the personal experience of balancing a lifetime of shift work with raising a young family Jon and Heather have discovered a path that have allowed them to still focus on their own optimal health while still ensuring that family is at the forefront of their lives. Jon is excited to be able to share his experience and help coach other first responders down the path of optimal fitness, nutrition and mental well being.
